■The RCSC Series Adds a Power Finesse Model with a 3.5mm Plate

This newly designed power finesse model
comes in three effective handle lengths: 82mm, 86mm, and 90mm.
Developed with a different concept from the RC-SC EX PLUS, which maximized torque, the RC-SC POWER FINESSE was developed with
a focus on maximum sensitivity, lightness, and strength.

■About Effective Length

The power finesse game, using baitcasting reels, continues to evolve as the fishing field becomes tougher every year.
To meet this demand, we offer three effective handle lengths: 82mm, 86mm, and 90mm.
The 82mm and 86mm styles prioritize sensitivity for slow fishing situations using jigs and worms.
The 90mm design incorporates the essential elements needed for minnows, jerkbaits, and small crankbaits.


■ Regarding Plate Thickness

To instantly penetrate a thick hook into a monster's hard mouth when reeling in, plate flex must be eliminated. To
achieve this, we created a new 3.5mm-thick plate made of high-rigidity carbon prepreg sheet pressure-bonded into a crank shape.


■ Regarding the Newly Designed R24L Monocoque Carbon Knob

The newly released handle knob for the Power Finesse is the newly designed R24L (total length 47mm).
We designed this new knob shape to be lightweight, with an outline that allows for instant grip, and sensitivity that can detect subtle underwater movements.
Regarding the Shaft, instead of the robust 5mm shaft used in the RCSC EX series, we used a standard 4mm stainless steel shaft for the RCSC POWER FINESS.


■ Regarding the Reel Body Mounting Method

By adopting a newly designed center nut with a larger mounting area and a stainless steel part sandwiched behind the plate, the threads of the reel body shaft can be deeper, increasing holding power and further improving sensitivity and rigidity.
