CUSTOM DRAG:

The world's first hollow titanium drag,
CUSTOM DRAG, features a monaka-style construction made by pressing and welding two titanium plates.
The thin titanium plates are press-formed to create the bulges and depressions in the wing, a process that embodies LIVRE's expertise.
Welding the two pressed parts together also requires repeated adjustments to the weld bead width and penetration, leveraging our extensive technology to achieve the best possible weld. We
also experiment with polishing irregularly shaped titanium to preserve its natural luster.

World’s First Hollow Titanium Drag
CUSTOM DRAG uses a monaka structure made by press-forming two titanium plates and welding them together.
Using thin titanium plates, LIVRE’s know-how is condensed in the press-forming process that creates the bulges and recesses of the arms.
In welding the two press-formed parts, we precisely adjust bead width and penetration, leveraging technology to achieve the best welds.
To avoid diminishing titanium’s inherent luster, we also pursue glossy barrel polishing of irregular-shaped titanium.

3-Part Structure Fits A Variety Of Reels
By dividing the drag into three parts, it is compatible with a wide range of reels.
Color variations are available for each part, enabling customization that matches LIVRE handles and reels.

For use with LIVRE long handles, the arms are lengthened so your fingers can catch the drag more easily.
This enables quick drag adjustment without taking your hand off the knob.
