The Takumi Bush Series "Hara -GENESIS-" is a high-precision PEEK bushing developed specifically for internal drive parts that rotate at low to medium speeds, such as handle knobs, drive shafts, pinions, and worm shafts.
It is not an inferior replacement for bearings, but rather the opposite, mutually compatible. Rather than pursuing the best initial performance, it is about maintaining stable performance over a long period of time. That is the design philosophy of "Hara -GENESIS-"
PEEK, a super engineering plastic, is a material of the highest standard in terms of heat resistance, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability. Each piece is finished by machining, achieving a precision that cannot be achieved with injection molding. The internal slits retain oil, maintaining a stable winding feel over a long period of time.

Precautions for use:

  • Always apply grease or oil when installing. Use without lubrication is not recommended.
  • When installing on drive shafts or similar components, please adjust the clearance to your preference using the included shims.
  • The 744 standard (7-4-4) and 956 standard (9-5-6) are specially designed. Please note that they cannot be used with other models.
  • The inner diameter of this product is designed with extremely precise clearance. You may experience some resistance when winding it until it settles in.
  • Since bushings do not have the concept of inner and outer rings and are a single part, setting the clearance to "0" will prevent rotation. Always adjust with shims or lubricants.
  • Installation and adjustment of this product are the responsibility of the user. If you are unsure about the installation process, please use our overhaul service.
